A team needs a vision. This is what differentiates good teams from others. They can develop effective solutions for many areas. Early intervention has been recognized as successful and must be developed particularly in the areas of interdisciplinary cooperation in research and practice. This will ensure that the quality of teamwork will promote the continued efficiency and success of early intervention. In this context, a prerequisite of future studies will be to highlight the reciprocal interaction between the situation of the family and child on the one hand, and the quality of the transdisciplinary team’s work on the other hand. In view of the vital significance of “good teamwork” for the success of early intervention, the factor “team” must be given more prominence than has so far been the case.
